MISSION STATEMENT
WHY
To provide
financial assistance for eligible York Suburban students to continue
their education (based on financial need, scholastic merit, and
achievement to academic potential) and to ultimately help students to
become responsible, dependable, capable community citizens and future
community leaders.
WHAT:
A local non-profit community based scholarship program
administered by a volunteer group of community and business leaders,
alumni, students, parents, and educators to provide financial aid to
York Suburban students to continue their education.
Why:
To provide an opportunity and hope to students who have the need, desire, and ability to continue their education. The program has found our students do have a substantial need for scholarships to be able to afford further education.
Who:
All work is done by volunteers from the community and all donations go to benefit local York Suburban students and do not leave our community.
